Momonga attempts to test the limits of this new discovery but is forcefully calmed down. Albedo, in particular, begins exhibiting the personality traits based on the settings Momonga made, much to his shock. He discovers, to his astonishment, that the NPCs have developed their own personalities and can be directly communicated with as if they were humans. Momonga closes his eyes to await the forced logout by server but realizes something is wrong as he is not ejected and remains in the game. On a whim, he changes her settings to be in love with him as its originally setting created by Tabula was that she was an absolute "bitch". On the way he orders Sebas and the Battle Maids to follow and meets Albedo there. Now all alone in Nazarick except for NPCs and still engrossed in the memories of the past, he takes the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown and heads to the throne room. Momonga is enraged about his friends leaving the game, but cools down after noting that they did not abandon the guild – it was that they had real life issues to deal with. Herohero bids farewell to Momonga and logs out. Momonga, guildmaster of Ainz Ooal Gown, is conversing with guild mate Herohero during the last moments of YGGDRASIL in their guild hall, The Great Tomb of Nazarick. YGGDRASIL is a Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game released in 2126 that is discontinued after 12 years of standing as the top DMMO-RPG. By this point in the show we’ve established that Momonga is stuck and can’t access any user interfaces, so it’s silly that more time is wasted on him standing around instead of showing off the cool things that can happen in this world.Transcription: " Owari to Hajimari" ( Japanese: 終わりと始まり) Instead of watching their quick battle, we get to see Momonga stand around some more with very brief cuts of the twins’ action. Momonga uses his staff to summon a fire elemental monster, which two NPC twins fight. Things don’t really improve when we finally get to see some action. Sure, she’s programmed to be overwhelmingly in love with him, but her overreactions were awkward and him “forgetting” that he was still fondling her breast wasn’t funny. I by no means don’t mind fanservice, but it’s a little beyond ridiculous when the NPC Albedo starts blushing and moaning as Momonga touches her hand and eventually her breast. Momonga’s first meaningful interaction with a now living NPC is gross. Once the servers shut off, Momonga finds himself stuck in the game and the once-lifeless NPCs around him begin to take on personalities. It was funny to see him try to balance his own kind mannerisms with his character’s role as an intimidating ruler. Though we don’t know what he looks like in real life, in Yggdrasil Momonga is a towering skeleton dressed in robes with bright red eyes, which contrasts nicely with his personality. Momonga sitting in his throne makes him look like an evil king. Still, it was cool to see more of Momonga’s guild base, the Great Tomb of Nazarak, which is essentially a dungeon complete with non-player character bosses. Momonga has already established why he loves the guild, so this just felt like a waste of time. Eventually Momonga ends up in his throne room and starts listing off names of characters from the guild that I know I won’t remember. This was enjoyable at first, but the scene dragged on for too long. As he wanders through the guild base, Momonga reflects on the adventures and accomplishments he achieved with his guild. With Yggdrasil scheduled to shut down, Momonga decides to stay in the game until its servers go offline. He sits at an impressive level 100, is in charge of a massive fortress, and wields a godly weapon of incredible power. For two years, protagonist Momonga built a powerful guild in the fantasy DMMO-RPG (Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) Yggdrasil.
